This is my cold weather kit with my 1978 John Ownbey Company M1965 Field Jacket with an assortment of U.S. M1956 Field gear and latter 20th Century belt and internal components. This is not supposed to be historically accurate in any way, just functional for long treks outdoors in the cold. I think I’ll get a second butt pack and an adapter so I can carry another on top of the one I’m carrying on my lower back.

On this day, 75 years ago…
They were hard enough to deal with during my childhood and adolescence but now as an adult all I can do is feel guilty for my problems.
I hope I can conquer these feelings someday.
